In his current position as CESA-SC
President, Roland is on the CESA State Board of Directors, representing
the CESA Southern Chapter. As a member of CESA-SC, Roland has, participated and
chaired several chapter committees, been involved in the planning of several CESA
Conferences hosted by CESA-SC, and was the Co-chair for the 2008 CESA Conference.
Roland has over 33 years' experience in emergency services, in both the public and
private sectors. He graduated from the University of Redlands, receiving a
Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Management, and is a Certified Business
Continuity Planner (CBCP), and a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) candidate.
Roland has given numerous presentations on business emergency preparedness and has
been an adjunct instructor at the California Specialized Training Institute (CSTI),
specializing in business emergency management and public/private relationships on
emergency planning.
