Who is CESA?

The mission of CESA is to support and coordinate the efforts of its members concerning Federal, State and local emergency management policies; improve the professional status of its members; and present legislative and regulatory matters to the members. CESA is a non-profit professional organization dedicated to the promotion of mutual support and cooperation across disciplines in preparing for natural and human caused disasters and public emergencies.

We are a dynamic organization of leaders and practitioners in Preparedness, Response, Recovery, and Mitigation in California.

CESA is comprised of emergency managers from all disciplines and levels of experience –yet we share common goals. Our strength lies in our diversity of education and experience.
